SSA Seal Assembly:

The Model ‘SSA’ is a tubing conveyed seal assembly used to sealing into, cementing through and closing the slide valve of a Cement Retainer.

To engage the ‘SSA’ simply apply downward pressure on the Seal Assembly.  Two inches of upward movement at the tool will close the valve for fluid containment above or below the retainer and will allow for pressure integrate test of the tubing. For releasing after use, pull 5000 – 8000lbs tension on the tubing until snapping out from the Cement Retainer. 

Releasing is also achieved by applying tension and rotating 8 to 10 right hand turns to disengage.
